Energy Live Consultancy Conference rescheduled

Category : News

Join us for webinars on 26 March, and at the postponed TPI event in September 2020.

At SSE, safety is at the heart of everything we do and it underpins all our decisions. While at SSE Business Energy we’ve been extremely excited about the upcoming Energy Live Consultancy Conference (ELCC) in Manchester, we fully support Energy Live News’s decision to reschedule the event to 24 September – in light of coronavirus – for the welfare of our colleagues, partners and wider society.

You can still hear all the latest insights from our speakers on 26 March, as we’ll be sharing the content through webinars hosted by Energy Live. They’ll be in touch in the next few days with those who’ve signed up outlining the time slots and how to register for our sessions. If you hadn’t signed up yet for ELCC but would like to attend the webinars, get in touch with Energy Live.

We’ll be hosting two 30-minute webinars, including time for Q&A.

The future of the energy industry: balancing third party costs, the energy trilemma and net zero

Use of system charges and levies have risen substantially in recent years, due to the expansion of carbon reduction, energy efficiency and concerns around security of supply, all while we move to a more flexible, distributed energy network. How do we balance these costs with the urgency of climate change and a net zero future, in a world where the energy trilemma remains the biggest challenge to the energy industry as a whole? Join our Commercial Director, Louise Innes, to find out how these integral issues affect you and your customer portfolio.

Agents of change: new solutions for net zero

In order to achieve a low carbon world, it’s essential that the property industry tackles climate change and helps lead the way to net zero. And increasing pressure from society, legislation, and both existing and prospective tenants makes it a commercial imperative. This session with our Senior Product Developer, Adam French and our Product Developer, Naomi Kelly will showcase brand new solutions for your property management customers, alongside wider green solutions for your portfolio that will help us all create a better world for tomorrow.

We were thoroughly looking forward to meeting with our partners at the Etihad Stadium, and we hope to see you in person in September. In the meantime, we’ll find a way to reach out to our partners throughout the year, ensuring any risk to all of us is minimised. If you have any questions or you were particularly keen to meet one of our senior management team on the day, please do get in touch to explore how we could facilitate this.
